"Existential angst in 6/4. God knows what that rhythm is though . . . "

Though later revisited twice, this is the ultimate take. The punctuated style of the arrangement brings to mind the syncopated playing of Young Marble Giants, but reinvented inna Zulu jive style. How'd this go unheard for so long?

Lost in a swirl of ideas after the break-up of Young Marble Giants, Stuart began working with anyone at hand who seemed to have a spark and started writing and recording, then writing and recording more. And more.

Although only three 7"s and one album from this fertile period were released, several albums of material were recorded, and our pledge is to compile and release the best of it.
